Internationally recognized author, Jameel Davis and his son Jaheir are featured authors at Euclid Public Library’s Annual #IndieAuthorDay which is set to take place on Saturday October 13, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Euclid Library. Both ElevatedWaves Publishing Authors, will be signing their books alongside each other for the first time.

On this day, libraries and organizations around the world welcome local indie authors, writers and their communities in for a day of education, networking, mingling, writing, open mics, panels and so much more (IndieAuthorDay.com).

Jameel Davis is the author of several books and journals, including the highly recognized and requested book, Cultivating Minds To Own Thyself.

Birthed with the intentions of helping men and women discover their purpose and take ownership of their lives, “Cultivating Minds To Own Thyself” by Cleveland Author Jameel Davis, is a book that encourages readers to define, identify, and to accept thyself without using society’s standards. It teaches readers how to examine themselves in attempt to modify their thoughts and in turn become their best self as well as make a difference in the lives of others.

Jaheir is the author of the children’s based writing journal, Oh Yeah!! Let’s Write.

Oh Yeah!! Let’s Write is a children’s writing journal created to encourage young children to begin writing and to promote literacy at home, in school and within the community.

Jameel and Jaheir’s published work will be available for purchase at the event.

Meet award-winning Cleveland author Everett Prewitt at the Indie Author Day Event. Everett wrote the novels “Snake Walkers” and “A Long Way Back.” He will speak about the writing experience. Everett’s talk will be followed by an Open House where you can meet other authors including, Sandy Rozelman, Anton Sears, Angelia Lee, Luke T. Barnett, and Leah Lewis. (Euclid Public Library).
